To conquer yourself, the first fact your mind must grasp is that existence exists—reality is what it is, independent of wishes or fears. 'Man is free to choose not to be conscious, but not free to escape the penalty of unconsciousness: destruction.' In order to live a truly objective, rational life, you must allow no illusions, accept no contradictions, and tolerate no evasions of reality—under any circumstance.
Reason is your only tool for understanding reality. Truth does not come from titles or popular belief—it comes from facts. Thinking is not an automatic instinct; it is a discipline that must be learned. If an individual is never taught how to think, they will inevitably seek out sources to tell them what to think—surrendering their minds to social media, peers, and society. The result is intellectual death.
Do not confuse selflessness with kindness. Self-sacrifice is a destructive, manipulative mandate designed to trigger guilt and force compliance. Altruism is not good, it is evil; it is a deep hatred for the self that views you as a sacrificial animal.
